Looking for someone special? Join your hosts, Dr. Barbara Cox and Rev. Christine Wines, for an unique twist on the speed-dating theme. We are available to facilitate these speed-dating workshops for your group, church or organization.

Using the Tantric Principles of mindfulness and playfulness, be prepared to see the Divine god or goddess in your partner’s eyes. We have developed a fun, unique program to introduce singles to one other – a method where they can feel more at ease and access their fun, flirty side more easily.

In the program, participants will be led through a fun, flirty speed dating event – meeting 15 to 30 people in one evening. This is THE way to meet quality singles.

Meet Your Hosts

Barbara Cox

Barbara teaches clients integrated tools that help them create the life and relationships they envision. She’s been featured in Cosmopolitan Magazine’s Love and Lust column as well as other international media sources. A client recently said that just by doing the meditation techniques in her class, their business and income expanded greatly because they were more centered and present. Another client lost the fear to ask for what they wanted in life in general, so they asked for and received double their salary and several months’ vacation. Clients have revitalized their love lives and become more comfortable with themselves. The techniques she teaches are unique and powerful. She can teach you techniques to get out of the struggle mode and regain your sense of self, while still having an enjoyable work and family life using a holistic, integrated approach incorporating both traditional goal-setting techniques as well as alternative techniques derived from acupressure and yoga to help you raise your self-esteem, feel balanced, and reach your goals more quickly.

Christine Wines

Christine trained under two different Reiki Masters. Rev. Wines received her certification as HHP from Academy of Professional Careers in 2001, after 1000 hours of specialized training in various forms of massage therapy, nutrition, herbs, and energy systems. In 2002, she went to China to study under a Qi-Gong Master at the Xi-Yuan Hospital in Beijing. She also studied Healing Touch, and energy healing through the Spiritualist tradition of Harmony Grove in Escondido, CA. In 2006 she became ordained as a Minister of Spiritual Peacemaking from The Beloved Community, after an intense seminary which included two spiritual retreats — one in Italy, the other in Oregon. Her approach to healing is holistic — reintegrating body, mind, and soul, and treating the whole person, not just the parts that hurt. Her spiritual path is very important, and is the foundation upon which she founded Healing Spirit Holistic Health Center. Under the Healing Spirit umbrella, Christine owns 4 other business entities which support her philosophy of holistic health. She offers healing movement modalities such as sacred dance and qi-gong, called “Moving Spirit”, and operates a spiritual center called “Loving Spirit Ministry”, which also includes “Tantric Spirit”, a devotional tradition that finds the divinity within ourselves. “Last year I had bilateral kidney stones with sizes of 2 cm, 5 cm, and 8 cm. The urologist told me that the only method to get rid of them was to do surgery. I sent out a request via the San Diego Healing Touch Organization and Christine responded. I received energy healing from her on Feb. 9, 2009 because I was in excruciating pain. During the treatment, I could feel lots of tingling. I knew that something was moving around, but I didn’t know for sure what was happening. After the treatment I felt virtually no pain. On Feb. 13^th, I was due for my x-ray to have the stones’ location before the extra-corporal lithotripsy (sound wave shock) to break the stones. As I was waking up from being under the general anesthesia, I could see the doctor hanging my x-ray results on the light wall. He could not find the 8cm stone. Minutes later, he called two more doctors for a consult. They were all stunned that the large stones had disappeared. There was only one sand-sized stone left.
