Are there phone charges?

Long distance charges apply, so you may want to use your cell-phone if you have unlimited long distance. However, when many participants use a regular land-line phone, the phone bill for an hour conference-call has only been $3.00, so it didn’t matter that much which phone they used.

May I wear a headset during class?

Yes, headsets are great to wear during phone classes.

What if I have a noisy environment at home?

Most phones have a “mute” key or you can press 6 while on the conference and mute or unmute your phone when you are interacting with the class.

Do I have to speak or participate in the class?

No, participation on the telephone is optional.
